Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This policy explains how Chartling, operated by Cladeworks LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) when you use our veterinary practice platform. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. We also use browser local and session storage, which work similarly. Together we refer to these as “cookies” in this policy.
How we use them
Chartling is a clinical tool, not an ad-supported product. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data. We only use cookies in two categories:
- Strictly necessary — keeping you signed in, maintaining your session and selected clinic, and protecting against cross-site request forgery. These are set by Chartling and by our authentication provider (Supabase). The service cannot function without them, so they are not optional.
- Preferences — remembering low-risk choices such as your theme and whether you have dismissed certain prompts. These are stored locally in your browser.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers that may set strictly necessary cookies on our behalf — notably Supabase (authentication and database) and Cloudflare (content delivery and security). We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers that profile you across the web.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because Chartling relies on strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, blocking them will prevent you from logging in and using the platform.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
