-

Click any appointment to see the date, time, location, attending vet, and reason for the visit. Some clinics include a preparation checklist (e.g. fasting instructions before surgery).
-
Confirm or request a change
If your clinic has enabled online confirmations, you can confirm attendance directly in the portal. To reschedule or cancel, use the Message the clinic button on the appointment detail page, or call the clinic directly.
Reminders
Chartling sends automatic appointment reminders if your clinic has enabled them:
- 48-hour reminder โ email sent two days before the appointment
- Day-of reminder โ SMS sent the morning of the appointment (if you've opted in to SMS)
To opt out of reminders or change your notification preferences, go to Account settings โ Notifications.
Past appointments
Past appointments are also listed under the Appointments tab, marked as completed. Click any past appointment to see the discharge summary from that visit. This is a quick way to find a specific visit without scrolling through the full Visits list.
FAQ
Online booking availability depends on your clinic. If enabled, you'll see a Book an appointment button in the portal. Otherwise, call the clinic to schedule.
Use the Message the clinic button on the appointment detail page, or call the clinic. Cancellations are not automatic โ clinic staff need to update their schedule on their end. Give as much notice as possible.
Contact your clinic to correct the details. The portal reflects what was entered by clinic staff โ if the date, time, or pet is wrong, they can update it and the change will appear in your portal.
Appointments appear in the portal only if your clinic scheduled them in Chartling. If the clinic uses a separate scheduling system, those appointments won't be visible here. Check with your clinic if you're unsure.
