Manage your sign-in credentials and notification preferences.
Signing in
You can sign in to Chartling with:
- Google โ click Continue with Google and select the Google account associated with your Chartling account. No password needed.
- Email and password โ enter the email address your clinic or the portal invitation used, plus the password you set up.
If you signed up with Google, always use Continue with Google. If you try to sign in with email and password later, you may land on a separate account. If you're unsure which method you used, try Google first.
Changing your email

Open Account settings
Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner and select Account settings.

Enter a new email address
Under Email, click Change email. Enter the new address and confirm.

Verify the new address
A verification link is sent to the new address. Click it to confirm the change. Until you verify, your old email stays active.
Changing your password
Go to Account settings โ Security โ Change password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice. If you forgot your current password, sign out and use Forgot password on the sign-in page.
Notification preferences
Go to Account settings โ Notifications. You can control which events trigger an email or SMS notification, including:
- Appointment reminders
- New messages from the clinic (portal users)
- Visit record updates
- Invoice notifications
Signing out
Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Sign out. On a shared or public device, always sign out when you're done.
FAQ
Try these in order:
- Make sure you're using the same sign-in method you used to create the account (Google vs. email)
- Use Forgot password if you use email/password
- Check that the email address matches what your clinic or the invitation used
- Contact support@chartling.io if none of the above works
For security reasons, Chartling ends all active sessions when you change your password. Sign back in with your new password. If you didn't change your password, contact support โ your account may have been accessed by someone else.
If your email address is used for both, you'll see both contexts after signing in. The clinic dashboard and the owner portal are separate experiences โ sign in once and switch between them.
