Chartling is a veterinary clinic management system (PIMS) built for modern practices. It handles clinical records (SOAP notes, medications, labs), invoicing, team management, client communications, and service modules like boarding and grooming. An AI scribe layer handles ambient documentation.

Chartling has four plans:

• Free ($0/mo): try the core PIMS with a single vet, no AI, no add-on modules.
• Operations ($39/mo flat, unlimited staff): full PIMS with simple invoicing, scheduling, clients, and the owner portal. No clinical AI. Best for clinics that want a modern PIMS without the AI layer.
• Intelligence ($149/vet/mo): AI clinical layer (ambient scribe, clinical decision support, discharge drafting) on top of your existing PIMS (ezyVet, Provet Cloud, Vetspire, or Digitail). Pushes finalized data back to your system. Includes the full chat-based Clinic Copilot assistant.
• Practice ($349/vet/mo): full standalone PIMS with all AI features, invoicing, reminders, owner portal, and all four service modules (Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, Training) included.

Non-vet staff are free on every paid tier. Add-on modules are $29/mo each, sold à la carte on Operations only; Intelligence gets every module unlocked for the length of its trial but doesn't sell them à la carte after that (upgrade to Practice to keep one); all four are bundled into Practice at no extra charge. Yes. Chartling is a web app that works in mobile browsers on iOS and Android. There is no native app to install. Open your clinic's Chartling URL in Safari or Chrome and use it like any website. The AI scribe works on mobile using the device microphone.

Yes. Chartling runs on Supabase (Postgres), which is continuously backed up with point-in-time recovery. Data is also exportable at any time from Settings → Data export.

The owner portal is a secure web app your veterinary clinic gives you access to. You can view your pet's visit summaries, medications, vaccines, documents, and invoices, and send messages to the clinic. See Pet owner portal.

Your clinic sends you an invitation email. You can't sign up on your own. Ask your clinic's front desk to send an invite to your email address.

Yes. There is no charge for pet owners to access the Chartling portal. Access is provided by your veterinary clinic at no cost to you.

Each clinic's portal is separate. If you visit multiple clinics that both use Chartling, you'll need to accept an invitation from each one. Your login (email or Google) works at all of them, but there's no in-portal switcher. Each clinic has its own portal link (from that clinic's invite email), so bookmark each one separately rather than relying on a single shared URL.
